With public meetings off the table due to COVID-19 and agencies transforming the way they engage the public, diversity and equity has emerged as the most critical topic facing community engagement in 2020. Join our panel of experts for a deep dive into the most effective strategies to safely reach the most vulnerable and traditionally underrepresented people in our communities. Whether it’s the environmental justice community, a key demographic for your project, or people without access to technology, each of these difficult to reach audiences can be engaged using the right method.
Our panelists Melissa Holguin from Arellano Associates and Dave Biggs from MetroQuest will systematically lay out best practices and techniques for going beyond the usual suspects to engage even the most difficult to reach audiences. From innovative online tools to social media tricks to no-tech strategies, this hour-long webinar will be packed with proven methods that you can apply to your outreach process during COVID-19 and beyond.
