Northern Arizona Intergovernmental Public Transportation Authority, AZ

As a follow up to its previous five-year plan, the state transit authority wanted to collect further public opinion on transit service in Flagstaff in order to plan its next steps. They developed three comprehensive vision statements for the future of the transit system in the city.
MetroQuest asked citizens to rank their priorities in order plus rate and comment on each of these three visions. In order to collect informed input for each scenario, participants were shown both a visualization as well as performance indicators about their top priorities. Additionally, it gathered contact information from interested people so they could be kept informed and stay involved.
As a result of feedback, the transit authority proceeded with a preferred plan to keep the city moving forward.
