Summary

The transportation goals of this project are being echoed in cities all over North America: how to develop and enhance bicycle and transit accommodations to support healthier, more livable communities. University Circle’s and Cleveland Heights’ commitment to these goals led to the creation of the Bicycle Network Plan and The Missing Links Transportation study. The plan and study are intended to identify and prioritize a number of issues, facilities and features that are associated with these two project initiatives.

In order to gather the desired community feedback, a number of survey and engagement options were considered. Ultimately, it was decided that MetroQuest was able to provide the best combination of attributes of online survey, priority ranking, spatial feedback and demographic information — all presented in a way that was fun and interactive. Feedback collected using MetroQuest helped define the range of cycling and transit options to help shape the future of alternate-mode travel in Cleveland Heights and University Circle.
